  • Presenter: Deb Marett has been the Public Information Coordinator at Milwaukee County Federated Library System since 2021. Previously, she worked as a marketing manager and freelance consultant in the B2B and travel and tourism industries. In 2025, she led a statewide initiative to advocate for the IMLS federal agency, which had been shuttered by executive order. She is also an adjunct professor at Gateway Technical College, focusing on improving reading and study skills for students who need increased literacy to succeed in their college courses.
